Blackbuck poaching case: Salman Khan found guilty by Jodhpur court & sentenced imprisonment for 5 years
“Salman Khan”, the mega star of Bollywood has been found guilty by Jodhpur court on Blackbuck poaching case. Soon after the verdict given by the Chief Judicial Magistrate Dev Kumar Khatri, the actor was sent to jail. Though Salman got relief from hit & run case, but it was his destiny that pushed him towards hell by sentencing him imprisonment for 5 years along with a fine of Rs.10000 imposed.
The court said that the poaching of Blackbucks is illegal as
it is a rare species & under conservation. But, Salman violated the
Wildlife Protection Act & killed two Blackbucks during the shooting of his
movie “Hum Sath Sath Hain” near Kankani Village.
The co-actors of the movie
were too acquitted due to their presence on the spot where Salman killed theblackbucks. The court released the decree of imprisonment of Salman Khan after
giving the verdict against him, but there are chances that could aid him to get
immediate relief from it if the higher court accepts his plea of bail.
The case is very sensitive as it was related to the poaching
of rare species of Blackbucks. So, it was difficult for the actor to get bail. It’s
almost 20 years since the case was filed in Jodhpur court, but as it was said
in a famous Hindi adage “Der Aaye Durust Aaye”, after a long wait the decision
has come. People who were against the act of Salman are praising the court’s
verdict for sentencing him confinement.
No matter what will be the further scenario, but it’s for
sure that Salman’s legal team has to work a bit harder to save him from
complete imprisonment. Now Salman’s fate depends on the capability of his lawyer
& his past track record of getting away with such cases. A lot of eyes are
waiting to watch whether the game turns or not on Saturday at the premises of
higher court.
What do you think on the verdict given by Jodhpur Court? Is
Salman going to be freed from all his cases at the end or will he have to spend
hectic days in jail? We hope that you’re keeping a close eye on the case. Do
